SECOND TRIAL
CHARGE AGAINST MOTORIST.
ALLEGED FAILURE TO STOP AFTER ACCIDENT. l (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The second trial of Harold Edward Bell on a charge that, being the driver of a motor-car, he failed to stop and render all practicable assistance after an accident, was begun before Mr Justice Northcroft and a jury in the Supreme Court this morning. On his first trial last week,- the jury acquitted Bell on a charge of negligent driving, but failed to agree on the second charge.
