The closing day’s attendance at the Glasgow Exhibition, which ended today, was 347,492, exceeding Wembley’s record by 21,492. Thousands danced reels in Lambeth . Walk and sang “Auld Lang Syne” 'hand-in-hand. The total attendance was 12,500,000, composed of people from all parts of the world.

The exhibition on Thursday welcomed its twelve millionth visitor, who was a Glasgow Woman. She was presented by the Board of Management with a gold watch and a cheque for £lO. and was given the freedom of the exhibition.

Work will immediately be begun to restore the park to its original form, and of the exhibition buildings only the palace of arts and the Glasgow pavilion will be retained.
