Frost, 5.6 degrees. Solway: Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 10 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. on Saturday and that 6 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday.
General situation: An anticyclone of considerable intensity is centred to the north while, a depression covers the western Tasman Sea, and is moving eastward. Forecast: Moderate west to north-west winds, freshening gradually and later reaching gale foroe in exposed positions; weather fair at first, but cloud increasing, and later scattered rain developing west of flhe ranges; mijd temperatures.
