WELLINGTON MEETING CHIEF EVENT TO FERRY POST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. ' Apart from a rather cold wind from the north, conditions were good for the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting at Hutt Park on Saturday. The track was in excellent order, although a little yielding, and with the exception of the October Handicap, which was not a truly-run race, the winners bettered their handicap marks by several seconds. The totalisator returns were £29,256 as against £24,331 10s for the corresponding meeting last year, an increase of £4921 10s. Results: —

The track was in fair order but slow. There was a good attendance and the totalisator handled £16,039, compared with £14,317 10s last year, an increase of £1721 10s. Results:—
