WEDDING

JENNINGS—MOORE. The marriage took place at Knox Church. Masterton, on Wednesday of Mary Martha Ann (Molly), eldest daughter of Mr W. Moore and the late Mrs Moore, Homebush, Masterton, and Thomas Charles, eldest son of Mr and Mrs T. A. Jennings, Pirinoa. The church was beautifully decorated by a friend of the bride. The ceremony was performed by the Rev John Davie. The bride was piped into the church by Pipe-Major Murdoch McKenzie. She was given away by her father and wore a beautiful gown of white satin, cut on classical lines. The veil, falling from a halo of arum lilies, formed a second train over the train of her gown. The bride carried, a sheaf of arum, lilies, orange blossom and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Moore (chief), sister of the bride, and Miss May Jennings, sister of tne bridegroom. They were dressed alike in pink floral georgette and wore necklaces, the gift of the bridegroom. They carried bouquets of pink tulips, roses and maidenhair fern. Mr Frank Jennings, Martinborough, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr F. Billington was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Orange Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs Moore, step-mother of the bride, and Mrs Jennings, mother of the bridegroom. Mrs Moore wore a smart brown tailored costume and Mrs Jennings a navy costume, both with accessories to match. ' • Later the happy couple left for their honeymoon, the bride wearing a brown floral frock with hat, coat and shoes to match.
