General situation: Pressure is still rather high to the north; a fairly deep westerly depression is approaching across the South Tasman Sea and pressure has risen behind it over Tasmania. Forecast: Light to moderate but gradually freshening north-westerly winds, possibly changing to south-west during Sunday night; weather mainly fair but scattered rain at times, more especially west of the ranges; temperatures mild.
