COSY THEATRE
‘“WINGS OVER AFRICA.”
After leading an adventurous life that started when he ran away from school, lan Colin comes to the screen in “Wings Over Africa,” which will be seen at the Cosy Theatre tonight. Opposite him in this thrilling drama of the Veldt is popular Joan Gardner. Colin was born in Rhodesia, and after travelling about for several years returned to England, not sure just what to do, when a friend recommended him for a part in the stage play of “Journey’s End” and although not keen about acting he was given a test and proved to be successful. “Journey’s End” was the beginning of a dramatic career and after touring with several eminent companies he makes his initial screen appearance in the Premier-Stafford production, “Wings Over Africa.” “Talk of the Devil,” will be another feature on the programme, and is an outstanding drama starring Ricardo Cortez and Sally Eilers, with Randle Ayrton and Basil Sydney in support.
