IMPORTERS TOUR CANADA. OTTAWA. Canada. • The largest organised trade party ever to visit Canada arrived recently in the persons of about 40 timber importers from Great Britain and France who were invited to visit British Columbia, Canada’s West coast orovince, as the guests of that provincial government. The snecific object of the visit is to enable the visitors to turn information pertaining to the premier industry of British Columbia to practical advantage and to facilitiate future dealings between the Dominion and their timber interests abroad. The guests arrived at Quebec and enjovod a complete tour across Canada. British Columbia is noted for its massive Douglas fir trees and its vast stretches of virgin timber land.
