Dave Freed, secretary of the InterMountain Tennis Association, declared that Budge several weeks ago signed a year’s contract as a professional for 50,000 dollars. Freed termed the dispute with Harris merely a publicity stunt. He thought that the German, Von Cramm, would tour with Budge if he obtains permission to leave Germany.
