Thorby) said it was now clear that the commencement of the trans-Tasmap air mail service would be governed by the supply of necessary aircraft. The Federal Government will submit a Bill to validate the agreement for the service to the Federal Parliament before the Christmas recess. Outstanding points in the proposed agreement between the Governments of Australia, New Zealand, Britain and the operating companies have been adjusted.
