TWO ACCUSED FINED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TE AROHA, October 20. In the Magistrates’ Court today, before Mr W. R. Freemen, S.M., Brian Coombe, hairdresser, Te Aroha, was charged with carrying on the business of a bookmaker. ..Giving evidence, Detective-Sergeant Thompson said that the defendant was betting in a small way. Coombe was fined £2O and costs. Arthur George Hill, storekeeper, Waihou, appeared on a similar charge and was fined £l5 and costs. •
