BREAKDOWN DENIED
ANGLO-AMERICAN TRADE NEGOTIATIONS. STATEMENT IN WASHINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, October 18. The State Department officially denied reports of a breakdown of the Anglo-American trade negotiations, but declined to indicate when the treaty may be concluded. An official spokesman said the negotiations were continuing and developing satisfactorily.
