VON CRAMM RELEASED
NEWS KEPT FROM PUBLIC (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) BERLIN, October 16. The former international tennis player, Von Cramm has been released from Leharter Prison. He walked out unnoticed, the news of his impending release being kept from the German public. Even his father was unaware until the last moment. Von Cramm, while in prison, was employed on clerical work, and never came in contact with criminals. His cell was occupied only a night.
