NEW NORWEGIAN SERVICE U.S.A. AND CANADA TO SOUTH SEAS. USE OF MOTOR VESSELS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO. October 16. The General Steamship Corporation has announced that the Thordahl Norwegian Line is establishing a service in January from San Francisco and Vancouver to the South Seas, and possibly Australia. (Two 11-knot motor-freighters carrying 12 passengers will sail every three months to the New Hebrides, New Caledonia, Fiji, Rotuma, Tonga, Niue, Fanning Island, Washington Island, New Britain, New Ireland, New Guinea, the Solomons and the Gilberts. Samoa, the Society Islands and Australian ports may be included.
