ST. MATTHEW’S CONCERT

On Thursday, St. Matthew’s School will give a concert in the Opera House. Those who attended the concert last year will remember the excellent programme that was provided. This year the concert will include items by the drill, dancing, singing and elocutionary classes and, perhaps the greatest attraction of all, the small children. The girls carry out their work cheerfully and promptly, and make the audience realise that, behind the footlights, they are enjoying the evening as much as those on the other side of the curtain. Tickets which are selling rapidly, may be obtained from the pupils, or from the Arts and Crafts where the box plan will open on Monday.
