RAILWAY DISPUTE
HOPES OF SETTLEMENT IN LONDON (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.47 a.m.) RUGBY, October 14. Negotiations between the National Union of Railwaymen and the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company are proceeding and prospects of an early settlement of the strike at certain of the Company’s London stations and depots are considered favourable.
