The Hungarians broke off negotiations with the Czechs at Komorn and will submit the dispute to the Four Powers. M. Dekanya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, referring to the wide gulf between the delegations, said the Hungarians had fought hard to obtain a reasonable offer and finally stood by the demand for self-determination. ULTIMATUM THREAT. DEMAND FOR THE SLOVAK . CAPITAL. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, October 13. The Budapest correspondeht of the British United Press says the Hungarians have rejected the Czech proposals at the Komorn conference and requested Czechoslovakia again to submit a more satisfactory plan by 6 p.m., under threat of an ultimatum. It is understood that the rejection is due to Czechoslovakia’s refusal to cede Bratislava, Kosice and other Carpa-tho-Russian towns and certain railways.
