No official approach has been made to Canada by the United States regarding the proposal of the American Secretary for Agriculture (Mr Wallace), for export allotments for wheat for exporting countries. Mr Wallace also suggests a conference for the regulation of production. A Winnipeg message states that the Premier of Manitoba (Mr Bracken) announces that his Government will propose a conference between Canada and the United States on the marketing of agricultural products, representatives of wheat importing countries will be invited, also European market authorities.
