Unusual interest is being displayed in the eastern States of Australia as to the outcome of the New Zealand elections, but the Press is eschewing editorial comment on them and confining reference to reports of the campaign. Wireless broadcasts of election meetings are being picked up nightly by a considerable number of listeners, particularly New Zealanders resident in Australia, who are heartily enjoying the clashes on policy matters. Stock Exchanges here are quietly watching the trend of affairs. They anticipate that a Government victory will have marked repercussions in Australia. _
