MR STRACHEY’S EXCLUSION
COMMENT IN NEW YORK APPARENT INCONSISTENCY By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 12. Mr John Strachey still denies that he is a Communist. The “New York Times” in an editorial, said: “The whole affair is puzzling to’thousands of Americans. We exclude a parlour Radical like Mr Strachey, while we keep a working Radical, who really means business, like the Australian-born Bridges.” It added: “Action contrary to Strachey ought to await a Supreme Court decision regarding Communism, the same as in the case of Bridges."
