REPORTED PARTICULARS OF CASUALTIES NEARLY TWELVE THOUSAND KILLED OR WOUNDED. FORTY PER CENT OF THOSE ENGAGED. (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) ROME, October 11. What are claimed to be the exact figures of Italian losses in Spain are published in Italian newspapers as:— Killed, 2684; wounded, 9178. It is stated that these losses represent about 40 per cent of the Italians in Spain. NUMBERS LEAVING. PROBABLY TWELVE THOUSAND. (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) BURGOS, October 11. It is officially stated that the Italians withdrawing probably will number 12,000.
