Except for two light showers the weather was fine for the concluding day of the Auckland Racing Club’s spring meeting at Ellerslie today and the course was fast. The attendance was estimated at 7000, against 8000 last year. The totalisator handled £27,083 10s, compared with £29,764 10s on the second day last year.
