£100,000 FENCE
CAMPAIGN AGAINST REBELS IN PALESTINE.
With the completion, at a cost of more than £lOO 000, of a 60-mile barbed wire frontier fence known as “Tegart’s Wall,” another source of suppy of reinforcements for brigands in Palestine has been cut off, stated a cablegram from Jerusalem. Concrete pillboxes and police posts fitted with powerful searchlights are now being constructed at frequent intervals along the fence.
