IN POSSESSION OF OPIUM
CHINESE FINED £25. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 7. Wong Ming, a Chinese was fined £5O on a charge of having been found in possession of prepared opium when he appeared before Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court today. Default was fixed at three months’ imprisonment with hard labour.
