RABBITSKIN SALE
PRICES AT WELLINGTON

The final rabbitskin sale of the season was held yesterday by the Wellington brokers.
At the previous sale the demand was exceedingly limited and passings were heavy, but yesterday’s prices showed a sound improvement all round and practically a total clearance was made. While there has been a very substantial fall in the market since the earlier part of the season the comparison between last sale’s rates and those ruling yesterday shows a marked improvement in prices.
The range of prices at yesterday’s sale is as follows:—Prime bucks, 55d to 57{d; Ist bucks, 48d to 2nd bucks, 40d to 46d; Ist does, 33d to 37}d; 2nd does, 31d to 33Jd; spotted bucks, 41d; spotted does, 27jd to incoming, 21d to 24d; late autumns. 18Jd; autumns, 14-J.d to 15J-d; outgoing bucks, 27£d to 32d; outgoing does, 21fd to 25.’, d; milky does, 14d to 14id; summers, B.}d to 13.’, d; springs, 14d to 203 d; broken’lst, 2nd and 3rd, llqd to 21,’d; F.S. and 8.5., Ist and 2nd, B.’,d to 24.3 d; hares, to lOd; runners, 3.’,d to 51d; racks, 12}d to 13d; black Ist to 4th, 6’d to 22jd; weevily, 2d to 7d.
