MANAWATU GORGE
RAILWAY LINE REOPENED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ This Day. The railway line through the Manawatu Gorge is new carrying its normal traffic, the slip which had blocked the line since late on Saturday having been cleared away. . Napier trains, which had been diverted via the Wairarapa for the past few days, resumed their normal schedules today. The evening passenger train from Napier to Palmerston North got through the gorge last night with only slight delay.
