Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.04. Shade temperature: Maximum 68.2. minimum 53.7, terrestrial 42.7. Sunshine, 9 hours 42 min. Rain, 7 points. General situation: A depression crossed the Dominion last night and pressure is now rising under the influence of an anticyclone centred over eastern Australia and extending on to the Tasman Sea. Forecast, light to fresh winds between south and west, weather fair to fine, with milder day but cool night temperatures.
