Savoia planes bombed the waterfront and set on fire two British ships. The Gothic was struck amidships and in the poop, which is blazing. The Thorpe Bay’s stern was shattered. There were no casualties on either ship. The Gothic is completely disabled. A message from Valencia states that a rebel seaplane bombed the British ship Luimneach, alongside the wharf. The cook, a Belgian named Spaits, received wounds to which he succumbed.
