HAND-KNITTED JUMPER
A SEWING HINT. When sewing together a hand-knit-ted jumper, sew the sleeves in with fairly large stitches so that they can be taken out when necessary. When the jumper is well worn, but before the elbows wear through the sleeves and sew into opposite armholes. This puts the thin parts of thd sleeves on the inner arm, where there is no strain, and so doubles the life of the jumper.
