♦ MASTERTON CLUB GAMES. The semi-finals of the Masterton Golf Club’s championships, played during the weekend, resulted as follows: — Senior: J. P. Hornabrook beat C. Faulknor, 5 and 4; R. B. Cameron beat F. B. Tatham, 4 and 3. Intermediate: L. Kibblewhite beat A. R. Todd, 2 and 1; E. B. Booth beat D. H. Stratton, 3 and 1. Junior: A. P. Stewart beat R. Bassett, 3 and 2; L. T. Daniell beat H. H. Daniell by default. A bogey competition played during the weekend resulted as follows: — A grade: R. B. Cameron, 1 up; E. B. Booth, 1 up; R. Todd, all square; G. R. Grylls, all square; H. P. Hugo, all square; E. Henderson, 1 down; D. H. Stratton, 1 down; L. Kibblewhite, 2 down; G. M. Ross, 3 down. J. E. Falloon, 4 up; W. A. Wardell, 2 down; E. L. Nitz, 4 down.
