Frost, .9 degrees. General situation: An anti-cyclone is passing to the north but a deep depression covers south-eastern Australia and is advancing across the south Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly winds, later rising to gale force in exposed positions. Weather fair at first, but cloud increasing and scattered rain developing in and west of the ranges; temperatures mild.
