HUNGARY’S CLAIMS

CESSION OF CZECHOSLOVAK TERRITORY BUDAPEST, October 1. Broadcasting a qualified approval of the Munich agreement, the Prime Minister, Dr Imredy, said: “We cannot be fully satisfied until its terms affecting Hungarian interests are completely fulfilled.” Hungary, he said, demanded selfdetermination and equal treatment for all nationalities in Czechoslovakia, a principle from which he would never swerve.

Later it was officially stated that Hungary intended to take immediate diplomatic steps in Prague to secure the immediate reopening of negotiations for the ceding of the territory claimed by Hungary.
