OIL ON BLANKETS

HOW TO GET RID OF IT. In order to take out the marks of cod liver oil on blankets mix equal parts of turpentine and methylated spirit and rub in a circle with a cloth or flannel dipped in this till the blanket is dry and the surface clean. Thenhang to air for a while, till all odour is gone. Another way is to soak the stain with benzine or chloroform and rub with a dry flannel.
