THE HON. P. FRASER

MAY STAY IN MASTERTON OVERNIGHT. PROPOSED VISIT TO WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. Owing to the situation in Europe and the absence of the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) in the South Island, the Minister of Education (the Hon. P. Fraser), who is to deliver an address in the Opera House tonight, is uncertain whether he will be able to stay in Masterton until tomorrow. The Minister has however notified Mr J. Robertson that if he does stay overnight he will attend the morning assembly at Wairarapa College tomorrow. The Minister will only arrive this evening shortly before the time set for the opening of his meeting.
