FORESTERS’ LODGE

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise (Ancient Order of Foresters) was held last evening. Bro. T. N. N. Coley presided. Bro. R. Walker reported on the sick brethren. A motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Bro. G. Smith, members standing in silence. The late Bro. Smith was the court’s oldest member having joined the Order on July 1, 1872, and being the third member to join the lodge. A brother from Inglewood was placed on the medical list. Bro. J. Barr reported on the Dispensary Board meeting. On the motion of Bro. G. Selby it was decided to create a fund for celebrating the Court’s 70th anniversary in August, 1941. Accounts amounting to £122 5s 9d were passed for payment. With summer time in operation it was decided to alter the time for commencing meetings to 8 p.m. At the conclusion of business a pleasant social hour was spent.

TO BE EFFICIENT TAKE DR MORSE’S INDIAN ROOT PILLS. A clean, sound and well-regulated system ns needed to be an efficient man or woman —one who goes ahead and makes a mark in the world. The lack of proper energy to obtain the best results is often due to a weakened system caused by Constipation, Indigestion or a Sluggish Liver. Such conditions will undermine the strongest constitution, reduce its resisting power, and make it weak and ineffective. Take Dr Morse’s Indian Root Pills to open the stopped-up ducts, and give Nature a chance to reassert herself. Healthier blood will soon be coursing through the veins, and health, strength and vigour follow. Dr Morse’s Indian Root Pills are a highly efficient remedy, they produce highly efficient results, and make efficient men and women. 20
