ENJOYABLE KITCHEN TEA

MISS S. MOODIE HONOURED. A most delightful kitchen tea was given by Mrs C. Taylor at “Waireka,” in honour of Miss Sheila Moodie, of Glentui, Langdale, who is to be married shortly to Mr Tony Whall of Pukerua Bay. Miss Moodie received a particularly fine lot of presents, and the function was made all the more enjoyable by the excellence of its organisation. Miss Moodie was warmly congratulated on her engagement and the sincere wish was expressed for her future happiness and prosperity. Those present were Mesdames J. B. Moodie, J. Tatham, L. Meredith, J. Toogood, V. Walker, R. Tatham, F. Tatham, F. Foreman, G. Bennett, C. Toogood, C. Davey, and Misses Joyce Moodie, E. Toogood, E. Stewart, E. Meredith, A. Coventry and V. Walker.
