YOUTHFUL BANDIT

; HOLDS UP NEW SOUTH WALES POSTMASTER ; OLD AGE PENSION MONEY . STOLEN SYDNEY, September 22. A daring robbery was committed today by a youthful bandit at Bondi. ' The local postmaster, Robert Wilson, had drawn £766 from the bank and was returning to his post office in order to pay the old-age pensions, when an armed youth thrust a revolver into his stomach and ordered him to drop the bag. Wilson, completely flabbergasted, complied. The youth ran off with the money, scaled a fence and disappeared. Several waiting pensioners witnessed the hold-up, but were too old to assist in the pursuit of the fugitive.
