UNIVERSITY SENATE
GRADUATES REPRESENTATIVES. EIGHT NOMINATIONS. <By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The election of the Senate of the University of New Zealand of five representatives of graduates will take place on October 5, and results will be announced about October 14. The last election three years ago was not contested, but this year there are eight nominations, including those of the five sitting members. Nominees are:—Mrs Gertrude Helen Benson, M-.A., wife of Professor W. N. Benson, Otago University. Mr F. H. Campbell, M.A., Dunedin. Mr N. M. P. Gibson, M.A., Auckland. Mr F. A. de la Mare, 8.A., LL.B., Hamilton. Mr A. 'E. Flower, M.A., M.Sc., Christchurch. Dr. William Newlands, M.A., B. (N.Z.), M. 8.. Ch.B. (Edin.), F.R.C. (Edin.), Dunedin. Professor G. W. von Zedlitz, M.A. (Oxford), Wellington. Mr T. U. Wells.M. A., Auckland. Those nominees who are sitting members are: Mr de la Marc, Mr Flower, Dr. Newlands. Professor von Zedlitz, Mr Wells. All graduates of the University of New Zealand are eligible to vote in the election.
