GERALDINE RACES FAVOURABLE CONDITIONS TRACK IN EXCELLENT ORDER (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GERALDINE, This Day. The spring meeting of the Geraldine Racing Club opened on the Orari course today. The conditions are highly favourable, with the track in excellent order and the attendance of patrons thoroughly satisfactory. Results:LHURDLE HANDICAP. 1 mile and 5 f. 2/2 Top Rank. 10.0 (5t0ve)......... 1 5/5 Contract, 9.6 (Beale) 2 3/3 Delrain, 9.11 (Powell) 3 Won by two lengths, with the third horse half a length away. Time 3.4. OHAPI HANDICAP, 6f. 3/4 Romarin, 8.7 (Messervey) 1 5/5 Comus, 8.9 (Russell) 2 2/2 Royal Refrain, 8.7 (L. J. Ellis) .... 3 Scratched: Auctor Ryetown. Romarin won by J a length, with Royal Refrain a neck away. Time, 1.17. Royal Refrain stumbled and fell after passing the post and Ellis was thrown over the rail, being taken to the hospital. GERALDINE CUP. 1.1 miles Pink Robe, 7.0 1 Wine Card, 8.3 2 Petersham, 7.7 3 All started.
