Rain, 23 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 23 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
Genera! situation: Pressure is very uniform and rather high over New Zealand; a disturbance appears, however, to be developing between Cape Maria Van Dieman and Norfolk Island. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds, with south-easterly to easterly predominating. Weather fair to cloudy; temperatures cool to moderate.
