DAFFODIL SHOW

MUNICIPAL HALL TOMORROW. The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, will officially open the Masterton Horticultural Society’s Daffodil Show at 3 p.m. tomorrow. Doors will open to visitors from 2 p.m. onwards in the afternoon and from 7 to 9 o’clock in the evening. Excellent entries have already been received from all over the Wairarapa and there is no doubt that the show will be an outstanding one. The ladies’ committee is arranging to make attractive afternoon teas available to visitors at a nominal charge, so those patronising the show can rely upon an enjoyable afternoon. Those exhibitors who have not yet sent their entries to the secretary are reminded that late entries close at 6 o’clock this evening.
