CRIME IN PALESTINE
MORE ATTACKS ON POLICE & OFFICIALS CUSTOMS SHED BURNT DOWN. TWO INJURED MEN DIE. (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.29 a.m.) RUGBY, September 19. Official advice from Palestine states that a British soldier was stabbed yesterday in Jaffa. His wound is not serious. An Arab police sergeant and one of the Jewieh supernumeraries previously injured have since died. An Arab police sergeant was shot and wounded in Jerusalem. Armed men burnt down the Customs shed at the Gaza railway station and another gang robbed two Government officials at Beersheba of their arms.
