General situation: Pressure is still high :across the north Tasman Sea and north ern New Zealand; a shallow westerly depression is passing in the south but pressure is now rising there also. Fore cast: Moderate to strong north-west to vzesterly winds; weather for the mos t part fair but some scattered showers in and west of the ranges; tear iperatures moderate.
