LYTTELTON SEAT

SOCIAL CREDIT CANDIDATE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 19. Mr W. B. Bray, wo is prominent in the Douglas Social Credit movement, will contest the Lyttelton seat as an Independent candidate. Mr Bray recently resigned from the Woolston branch of the Labour Party on the ground that he could not tolerate what he described as the “undemocratic’’ methods of the Labour Party administration. At that time Mr Bray demanded the resignation of the member for Lyttelton, Mr T. H. McCombs, as the alternative to his own resignation.
