DEFENCE SECRETS
PROPOSED LEGISLATION IN AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, September 19. The Minister of Defence, Mr H. V. C. Thorby, stated that a Defence Secrets Bills would be introduced in the Federal Parliament. The measure would impose heavy penalties for the publication of secret defence information by newspapers, broadcasting stations or any other medium.
