Two British steamers, the Stanlake and Bobie were damaged during three air raids. The Stanlake’s poop and hull were battered. The Bobie was only slightly damaged. A Greek cook from the Bobie was wounded in the head. The steamer Seabank is reported to have been struck by shrapnel. Thirty persons were killed and 114 injured in the city.
