RED STAR CRICKET CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. THREE TEAMS FOR COMPETITIONS The annual meeting of the Red Star Cricket Club was held last night. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr C. Perry; president, Mr L. J. Matthews; vice-presid-ents, Messrs B. Iveson, W. Fly, E. Hayden, H. B. Thomas, P. Prescott, F. Miller, E. Buckton; club captain, Mr E. F. Pool; management committee, Messrs J. Renner, W. Peterson, D. Wellington, E. F. Pool, C. Roys; secretary, Mr G. B. Peterson; treasurer, Mr B. Wilmshurst; auditor, Mr W. B. Yates; delegates to the Wairarapa Cricket Association, Messrs W. Peterson, F. Hoar, D. Wellington, B. Wilmshurst; selection committee, Messrs F. Hoar and W. Peterson. ' The members stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory of the late Mr E. Welch. It was decided to enter a senior and two junior teams in the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s competition.
