SHARP EARTHQUAKE
FELT IN MANAWATU. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ September 13. A sharp earthquake was felt throughout the Manawatu district at 6 o’clock this morning. Many residents were awakened by loud rumbling pre-' ceding the shock, which lasted three or four seconds. No damage is reported.
DANNEVIRKE SHAKEN DANNEVIRKE, September 13. A short, sharp earthquake was felt at Dannevirke shortly before 6 o’clock this morning. This is the third shake within the past few days. The earthquake was also felt in Eketahuna.
