MASTERTON RACES
SPRING MEETING NEXT MONTH CLOSING OF NOMINATIONS The Spring meeting of the Masterton Racing Club will be held at Opaki on Thursday and Saturday, October 13 and 15 when patrons are assured of two days of excellent sport. The course and appointments are in splendid order and the generous stakes offered by the club will no doubt attract large fields of good class horses.' It is hoped that the public of the Wairarapa will rally round the club and make this year’s meeting one of the best on record. Nominations will close with the’ secretary, Mr N. H. James, at 8 p.m. on Monday. September 26.
