COUNTY RATES
MASTERTON COLLECTIONS On August 31, discount date, the Masterton County Council, had collected 53.4 per cent of the rates levied for the current year as compared with 55.7 last year and 47.3 for 1936-37. The total rates levied amounted to £25,943 19s 2d, and the' amount collected at August 31 was £13,589 3s Bd. Five per cent discounts allowed reduced the total to £25,437 Os 2d.
